It is no secret that people from all over the world come to Las Vegas for many different reasons. You might be planning your bachelor/bachelorette party, tying the knot, road tripping with your BFFs, or just coming on a little vacay to get away.

Las Vegas is best known for its entertainment, food and wild nightlife. And whether you are coming from across the globe or on a short trip from Los Angeles, Las Vegas always delivers. The Las Vegas Strip is home to over 30 casinos and thousands of restaurants. So it’s understandable that when booking your first trip, it can be quite overwhelming.

My Top 3 Favorite Hotels

From Fremont to the Strip, after residing in Las Vegas for almost two decades I have gotten the opportunity to stay in almost every hotel. Here are my top three favorite hotels.

Caesar’s Palace

Based on the Roman times, Caesars Palace is located right in the heart of the Strip right off Flamingo Road. It is home to over 20 bars and 18 restaurants which offer nothing but the best cuisine. Caesars Palace is also home to the famous Forum Shops, an epic shopping center with over 160 stores.

City Center

City Center is home to some of the most lavish hotels in the city. Within the 16,797,000-square-foot lot stands Aria Casino, The Mandarin, The Cosmopolitan and The Veer Towers. Each hotel and casino has their own different style and vibe but they are all equally amazing. My favorite out of those hotels had to be The Cosmopolitan. Everything from the room set-up to the views of the strip left me speechless.

Paris Hotel and Casino

Last but not least, we have The Paris Hotel and Casino. The Paris is by far my favorite hotel to rest my head in. This hotel has it all from amazing food to spectacular nightlife and romantic getaways. It was created as a replica of Paris France, down to the Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel Tower.

My Top 3 Favorite Restaurants

If you are a huge foodie like me you will definitely appreciate the food in Las Vegas. From buffets, gourmet meals and hole in the wall diners you would never think would blow your taste buds off, Vegas is an awesome place explore the culinary world. 

Mon Ami Gabi

Mon Ami Gabi is a French steakhouse located inside the Paris Hotel and Casino. It is amongst the most popular restaurants in the Las Vegas region due to their high-end cuisine and breathtaking patio view. You will have a panoramic view of the Bellagio fountains as you enjoy your complimentary bread and butter as you wait for your entree.

Top of the World Restaurant

It’s not called the Top of the World for nothing. This restaurant is located more than 800 feet above the Las Vegas Strip in the Stratosphere Casino. Although it is a bit on the pricier side, it is worth every penny. You will get a breathtaking view of the entire Las Vegas Strip along with some top-notch food!

Bellagio Buffet

It would be almost criminal to not treat yourself to a buffet when visiting Sin City. Las Vegas has a huge selection of buffets. Each one is different in their own way but equally delicious. My personal favorite is the buffet at the Bellagio. It offers an endless selection of food which will not disappoint.

My Top 3 Favorite Bars

Las Vegas is packed with bars. Every turn you make you can expect to find a different bar. If I didn’t know any better I would say that it has more bars than restaurants and hotels put together. But that is how it earned its nickname “Sin City” and slogan “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.”

Chandelier Bar

Located inside The Cosmopolitan, this bar is as exclusive as it gets. The best part of it? It’s inside an actual chandelier, which makes for an amazing experience and view. Everything from the drinks to the service is exceptional. So put on your best outfit and come to grab a drink.

PBR Rock Bar and Grill

Looking to get rowdy? PBR a very popular rock bar inside of Planet Hollywood. Along with a mechanical bull, loud music, dancing and bikini contests, this bar has it all. I can’t tell you how many nights I’ve danced the night away at this rockin’ bar.

Also located inside the Planet Hollywood, Tipsy Robot takes a very futuristic turn. How so, you ask? This bar has actual robots making your drink! You order from a computer then let the robots do their job.

My Top 3 Favorite Night Clubs

OMNIA

Come dance the night away at OMNIA! Stationed inside the Caesars Palace this club is listed as one of the best clubs in the WORLD. It is known for its 22,000-pound shape-shifting chandelier. It also has an outdoor deck with a gorgeous view of the Las Vegas Strip.

Hakassan

Marquee

My Top 3 Vegas Tips

• Pregame, pregame, pregame! – Las Vegas makes all their money off alcohol and gambling. Which is why they charge around $15-$30 per drink or shot depending on where you are. What a lot of people don’t know is that everything off the Strip is regular price. You can drive about five minutes away, find a liquor store and pick up a whole bottle for around $10-$20.
• Free Gambling Lessons – If you are coming to Las Vegas with gambling intentions but you aren’t sure how to play, here is a little secret – Many casinos offer free gambling lessons to people to get them ready for the real deal.
